The Boys

The boys had their birthday's in February. Logan turned 1 on Feb 11 and Brayden turned 4 on Feb 17. I have also included some random recent photos of them. Logan had a cake for his birthday with a family celebration. Brayden had a cake when we got to Calif. and he wanted absolutely nothing to do with it!

Logan's 1st Birthday cake. Check him out below...enjoying the chocolate :)

Since Brayden wanted nothing to do with his cake or blowing out the candles...Uncle Bret did it for him.

Brayden got a Lightning McQueen bike for his birthday. He LOVES it!

The boys got this awesome Train Table for their Birthday's. Not a day goes by that they don't play with it.

Brayden before school, he's ready to go with his Thomas the Train back pack.

A day at the Park.

Future In-N-Out Employee haha!

Logan got his hat off his head in .25 seconds!

Some of Brayden's art work on the new comforter in the guest bedroom. Dan said, "At least he's writing his numbers". Haha...it was easily cleaned but pens put up for now on!

Winter Holidays - 2009

Not much went on in our neck of the woods over Thanksgiving and Christmas. Tim and I both worked on Thanksgiving and I was still broken up about the kids and grandkids leaving early October. We had a little feast on Friday at my mother-in-law Mary's house - just the 3 of us.

On Christmas day, Tim had to work a 12 hour shift. We didn't do anything. This next holiday season should be much better. For me, 2009 was the worst. I have never had a holiday without at least one of my kids. I'm glad its over and yes I survived :)

I experienced my Christmas with my grandbabies Brayden & Logan via phots. Looks like they had fun :)

Fall 2009

Not much going on this past Fall - my mom came to visit for 2 weeks and that was great, but besides that its work, work, work. Here are some pics of Tim, my mom and I when we went to the Pumpkin Patch. As far as Halloween, we didn't give out candy at home, we went to the Trunk or Treat at church and it was freezing! So we stayed a little bit, ate some fresh popped pop corn, had some hot chocolate and went home :) Mom went home on Nov 7th.

Bellingrath Gardens - Oct 25, 2009

After our visit to So Cal - Mom flew home with my brother Tim to Deleware. She stayed for 2 weeks and then flew to Florida to stay with Tim & I for 2 weeks.

My mom has always loved the outdoors and her gardens. We thought it would be a perfect time to visit Bellingrath Gardens in Theodore, Alabama. It was about an hour and half drive, and we invited my mother-in-law Mary to join us. We knew she would enjoy it as well. We stopped for lunch on the way and arrived at the Garden's in the afternoon. There were not many people there that day - it seemed we had the whole place to ourselves! Here are some pics from the adventure - I hope you enjoy :)
